John Narvaez and Liz Rojas have been dancing salsa, performing and competing around the world for more than a decade. Ten years ago, John and Liz founded SalsaMania Dance Company to teach salsa to students who share their passion for the dance. But they didn't want to simply offer another casual weekly drop-in class. Instead, their vision was to provide comprehensive salsa instruction with an unparalleled level of technical expertise. In their classes, John and Liz teach students the principles of salsa dancing, footwork, spinning techniques, partnering techniques, turn patterns, shines, styling and muscality. Since its founding, SalsaMania has produced hundreds of quality dancers and numerous performance teams that have earned top accolades in local, regional, and international competitions.
The SalsaMania On-1 Training Program is one-of-a-kind. With classes that meet on Tuesdays and some Thursdays (2-hours per classes), students receive 36+ hours of instruction over 18 classes. Sign up by September 20th and pay just $400 ($50 off the on-site registration price of $450) for the three-month training program. This comes out to approximately $11-per-hour-of-instruction. Owing largely to the reputation John and Liz have built, this program attracts students who are serious about salsa dancing. The SalsaMania Dance Company provides students with intense rehearsals while offering them a supportive atmosphere to facilitate faster progress. You will find a great learning environment in the classes. Furthermore, students often schedule their own practice sessions outside of class. When available, John and Liz frequently volunteer their time to help students in those ad hoc practice sessions. John and Liz are committed to bringing out the best in you as a dancer by sharing their love of salsa/mambo dancing.

Tentative CLASS SCHEDULE for SalsaMania On-1 Intensive Salsa Training Program
In general, the class meets every Tuesday and
the first two Thursdays of each month. There are some exceptions. Please see class schedule below. All classes are held from 8pm to 10pm in Alameda. The program includes eighteen 2-hour sessions for a total of 36 hours of instruction.
